The 2019 Ford F-450 is going to be the perfect choice for towing big load. Its long box can take more than enough cargo. Also, its towing capacity is the best in the class. Well, the Ford F-350 can match some of the capabilities, but with upgrades. By default, the F-450 is going to use a dual rear wheel configuration, long bed, and diesel engine. Petrol unit, short box, and SRW are not in the offer.
2019 Ford F-450 Drivetrain
The 2019 Ford F-450 will use a 6.7-l turbodiesel engine. The Powerstroke unit is capable to produce 450 hp and 930 lb-ft of torque. With a dual rear wheel configuration, the truck can tow 32,500 pounds. For example, the F-350 can do the same when configured identically. But, it offers a single rear wheel or gasoline engine which drops towing capacity.
The transmission for the 2019 Ford F-450 is a six-speed Torq-shift gearbox. The company has no intention to upgrade it yet with a new ten-speed transfer case. The configurator allows buyers to choose between 4×2 and 4×4 drive system. The only difference is that Limited edition version is not available with the first setup.

The next trim levels, XLT and Lariat will add Ford Sync infotainment system. Compared to the lower level, the second one offers leather seats. The F-450 XLT uses cloth. The Lariat also comes with a larger 8-in touchscreen display. King Ranch is one of the most favorite models in the lineup. With it, the 2019 Ford F-450 is more appealing thanks to the two-tone paintjob. That is not all since in King Ranch trim buyers will get chrome details on the bumper, side skirts, and unique rims. Inside, special Mesa leather covers seats and steering wheel. Navigation is standard from now on.
Top of the range offer is Platinum mode. Well, this is the most luxurious version available with 4×2 drive. A 4×4 system is available for 2019 Ford F-450 Limited truck. The unique grille is the highlight of the first one. On the Limited model, everything is on another level, including a twin-panel sunroof that is not available on any other Ford’s truck.

The starting cost for the 2019 Ford F-450 is $52,000. From there, you can upgrade your ride with 4×4 drive system or next trim level. However, a 4×4 will cost around $3,000 for each of the models you pick. Top of the class Limited version sits at $90k. That is going to be $10,000 more than the Platinum truck in 4×4 configuration.
