A 6.2-liter is the safe bet for the EXT. This engine can provide 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. All the high-end big rigs in the family are using it, including Chevy Silverado 1500. A diesel engine is another cool alternative. Still, engineers might try with some other choice, rather than a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft. It can be a hybrid or even an all-electric model. We can’t write off a high-performance V package with a supercharged V8 petrol engine. It would be a rival to Ram TRX and the upcoming Ford Raptor R. All those trucks will be able to create more than 650 hp.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade EXT should be a step ahead of the competition with a premium offer. The exterior is going to be very similar to the SUV. Designers still need to find a solution on how to turn the vehicle into a truck. But, the EXT will definitely use high-end options, such as a Multi-Pro tailgate, or trailer camera system. Bedliner should be standard as well.
Inside, the cockpit will get premium materials, including leather upholstery. Upper trim levels should feature unique design cues. The Super Cruise system is one of the most anticipated features the 2023 Escalade EXT could bring to its buyers. Still, it will be an optional upgrade. We can’t see the luxury truck using a single-cabin configuration, so the Crew Cab is a certain choice.
