Changes for the 2019 Ford F-350 will be modest. This truck expects a huge revisit for the 2020 year model. For the next year, the spotlight is on the full-size F-150 truck. It heads into a new generation, as well as its main rivals. The big three companies in the truck segment will then turn attention for the next heavy-duty pickups. Of course, the Blue Oval badge will redesign its biggest Super Duty model. Various Crew Cab configurations, Lariat and Platinum trims, and even Super Chief F-350 are possible.
The 2019 Ford F-350 Dually is one of the class-leading trucks for towing. Variety of options make the pickup pretty versatile. Although it is a big vehicle for work and towing, the F-350 can turn into a home. Its mpg rating and MSRP are worse for buyers and drivers than for some smaller versions. But, the truck makes it up with 30,000 pounds of towing capacity.
2019 Ford F-350 Configurations
According to previous experience, the 2019 Ford F-350 Crew Cab configurations will be the most interesting. One of them will be the Super Chief. However, Platinum and Lariat are appealing trim levels as well. On the other hand, Platinum is the most expensive truck. The 2019 Ford F-350 XL is the base model for Crew Cab. There will be also Super Cab configurations, which offer less space in the cabin, but more room in the box.
2019 Ford F-350 Super Chief
The Super Chief concept finally gets into production. This version of the truck is interesting because of its tri-fuel system. Its engine will use hydrogen, ethanol E85, and petrol. On the go, the driver will be able to switch between fuels. But, initially, this concept was intended to be a part of the F-250 lineup. Now, it seems like the 2019 Ford F-350 Super Chief is more realistic.
2019 Ford F-350 Specs
Under the hood of the 2019 Ford F-350 remains the same engine lineup. Two powertrains, one gasoline unit, and one diesel mill. The other one is more popular because of its towing capacity. The petrol unit delivers a smoother ride and better fuel economy. However, a dual-rear-wheel configuration in combination with a 6.7-liter V-8 PowerStroke diesel drivetrain can return over 920 lb-ft of torque and make the truck pull more than 30,000 pounds. The gasoline engine is a 6.2-liter V-8 with outputs of 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of twisting power.
2019 Ford F-350 Dually
The most impressive configuration is 2019 Ford F-350 Dually. With this version, the truck will be able to tow 34,000 lbs. Dual rear wheels allow the pickup to keep balance. At the same time torque is converted into hauling force, which is the class-leading. No Ram 3500HD or Silverado/Sierra 3500HD can match these figures.
2019 Ford F-350 MSRP
The 2019 Ford F-350 will keep the pricing of its predecessor. However, if all six trim levels come back, there will be plenty of options for buyers to configure their truck. The final cost will depend on the cab configuration and trim level. In the first segment, you choose between Crew Cab and Super Cab. The entry-level trim is XL. This is the cheapest 2019 F-350 with a price tag of $34,500. The limited edition is still questionable. This is a luxury version of the pickup with a price over $80,000. More exciting for truckers is 2019 Ford F-350 Platinum that costs $20,000 less.
