The 2020 Chevy Silverado Z71 Off-Road Package is one of the best upgrades you can make on the truck. The suite is available on LT, RST, and LTZ trim levels and there are two levels. The cheaper is the standard Off-Road package. If you want to invest more and get extra fun, then there is the Z71 Off-Road and Protection set of features to improve the capabilities of your Silverado truck.
It is not easy to find this bundle. If you are going step by step, it could take some time. First, you will need the LT, RST, or LTZ trim level. These are available with Double- or Crew Cab. Basic Off-Road Package
The 2020 Chevy Silverado Z71 Off-Road package costs $850 and includes a dual exhaust system. Upgrades for this all-terrain model are skid plates and twin-tube shocks by Rancho. Z71 Off-Road with Protection Package

2020 Chevy Silverado Z71 Drivetrains
As said, you cannot add the Z71 packages to all the trim levels Chevrolet offers for its famous truck. The base 4.3-liter model is not available on the required models. The base offer starts with a new 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit. It produces 310 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, which are transferred to wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A 5.3-liter unit will definitely be able to haul more. In this case, theV8 is ready to crunch more power (355 ponies and 383 lb-ft of torque). Converted to towing capacity, that is 11,500 pounds. The same eight-speed transmission sends power to all four corners.
A ten-pace gearbox replaces it if you want a diesel unit. A 3.0-liter Duramax V6 powerplant is a class-leader. It creates 277 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. Still, the turbodiesel model will need a towing capacity boost from 9,500 pounds. The most capable engine in the lineup is a 6.2-liter petrol V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
2020 Chevy Silverado Z71 Price
As said, the 2020 Chevy Silverado Z71 upgrades will cost between $850 and $2,700, depending on a trim level. The Off-Road Package with Protection is cheaper for the RST trim since the model already offers some features. The cheapest configuration you will need to get Z71 bundles is Double Cab, LT trim, 5.3-l V8 engine. Both Z71 packages will make the truck cost $44,000. With an LTZ trim and 6.2 engine, the MSRP jumps to $52,000.
