The 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior coming soon. Nissan is one car-maker that is not exactly known for making pickup trucks but it has been trying hard to increase its share in this fast growing segment. While its existing Navara and Titan pickups have receicved moderate to good response in various markets, the company wants to push the boundaries.
That is why it stunned by unveiling a rugged and stylish looking concept truck two years back at the Detroit Auto show. The aggressive and futuristic looking Titan Warrior concept truck received great response at that time. While it is yet to be confirmed by the company, the Titan warrior may be heading to production.
2019 Nissan Titan Warrior – Design Possibilities
It is not exactly new for truck manufacturers to unveil a stunning looking concept model and Hyundai tried it with Santa Cruz and Renault showcased the Alaskan in recent years. The Titan Warrior Concept was shown right before Nissan launched the Titan XD truck. The company says its styling is unapologetic, aggressive, and athletic. It seems to be a direct challenger to new F-150 Raptor. Overall, the design will be pretty aerodynamic.
It is a truck aimed at taming off-roads. However, the production version may not have all design traits of the concept vehicle. The custom matte-gunmetal paint may not be retained and Nissan may offer more than one trim. The concept vehicle was a little bigger than regular Titan XD. The alloy wheels may be changed as well. However, skid plate may be used in the final version. It may also retain the quad exhaust at back side. The off-road roof fixed LED lamps may be retained as well.
The cabin of the Nissan Titan Warrior 2019 will have same aggressive design cues of exterior. The seats are laden with high-strength fabric with Magma Orange accents. A lot of carbon fiber and leather will be used in its cabin. Ergonomics is going to be the point of focus.
2019 Nissan Titan Warrior – Engine
The concept version of Titan Warrior was equipped with a Cummins Turbo Diesel V8 engine and an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission unit. The suspension was also enhanced. The final version may or may not have the same powertrain but the company is yet to say anything on the matter.
Spec:
Like the 2019 lineup of Nissan trucks, the upcoming Titan Warrior ill get enough advanced safety tech embedded. It may also get enough modern amenities to woo the buyers. So, you can expect it to come with airbags, lane keep assist, reversing camera, automated emergency raking, theft alarm etc.
2019 Nissan Titan Warrior – Price and Availability
The upcoming 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior truck’s pricing is not clear. However, it is definitely going to be priced higher than the Titan XD. The release time may be in late 2019 or so. The upcoming 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior seems to be an enticing off road ready truck with rugged build and features galore. However, a lot of things including its engine and final price are yet to be announced by the company. It has the potential to take on the Ford Raptor head on.
