1 Million US Sales
The 2021 Ford F-150 must reach this milestone. Last two seasons the Blue Oval company sold more than 1 million trucks in North America. However, we expected to see it only in the US. But, after record sales in 2018, sales dropped under 900,000 in 2019. With the announcement of the new generation coming in 2021, we doubt the truck for the 2020 season is going to be anywhere close to the dream number. But, the new series will cause a lot of interest and we believe this will be the first time some company manages to sell more than a million copies of one model.
New Raptor
The next-gen F-150 is going to bring a lot of novelties and we are setting our sights to new arrivals. One of them could be the all-new Raptor version with even more muscles. A twin-turbo engine is powerful, but rivals are going to make it harder for the Blue Oval company.
Chevrolet is preparing the new Silverado ZR2 and Ram Rebel TRX could get a 707 hp engine. Well, both versions are not confirmed yet, but when these trucks appear, fans of the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor will have reasons to worry. So, to prevent that, the new Raptor will be out.
2021 Ford F-150 Diesel Updates
When the Powerstroke drivetrain entered the market, it caused a lot of attention. However, all rivals reacted and now we have similar offers at dealerships. Now, the company saw what others are capable of doing and the 3.0 turbodiesel engine could get a boost. Currently, it is producing 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. That is less than Silverado can do, but the towing capacity is higher, 11,500 pounds compared to 9,500 lbs to its fiercest rival.
2021 Ford F-150 Release Date and Price
Well, all these speculations about the 2021 Ford F-150 are causing a lot of interest and everything will be revealed by mid-2020. The premiere of the new truck is definitely going to happen in the new format of NAIAS. The Detroit Auto Show is moved from January to June, so manufacturers can show off.
